You will lead a warm, engaged Mandarin immersion classroom where children are actively learning through play, language, and outdoor exploration, guided by a clear and intentional daily structure.
This role is for an educator who values both joyful classroom energy and strong, well-designed systems that support meaningful teaching.
You will:
- Lead daily classroom rhythm in full Mandarin immersion
- Facilitate circle time, outdoor exploration, projects, meals, and rest
- Support children’s emotional development and social growth

Requirements:

Toddler Assistant Teacher (Full-Time)
👶 Ages 12–29 months | 1:4.5 ratio (9 children total)
You will be fully engaged in a joyful, hands-on toddler environment, supporting exploration, language development, and daily routines alongside a Lead Teacher.
You will:
- Actively participate in play, song, and outdoor exploration
- Support smooth transitions and group flow
- Respond to children with warmth and attentiveness
- Help maintain a clean, organized, well-prepared environment

📍 Seattle, Bellevue, Mercer Island, South Seattle (Outdoor-based programs)
We are building a nature-based Mandarin immersion program where children learn through movement, play, language, and outdoor exploration.
This role is for educators who enjoy being active with children, speaking Mandarin naturally throughout the day, and contributing to a calm, well-structured learning environment.
Program Overview
We run both school-year afterschool programs and summer nature camps, with a strong focus on Mandarin language immersion in outdoor settings.
- School Year Program: Afterschool enrichment
- Summer Camp: Full-day outdoor Mandarin immersion camps
Schedules are flexible where possible, and candidates who can support both seasons are strongly preferred.
Locations
Primary outdoor sites (choose 1–3):
- South Seattle
- North Seattle
- Central District
- Mercer Island
- Bellevue
Indoor backup locations are available in Bellevue during inclement weather.
Schedule
School Year (Afterschool):
- Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 3:00–5:00 PM
- Wed: 1:30–5:30 PM
- Sunday AM optional
Summer Camp (June–August):
- Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM–3:30 PM
Schedules are negotiable based on mutual availability.
What You Will Do
You will support and facilitate Mandarin immersion learning in both outdoor and indoor environments, working alongside lead educators.
You will:
- Lead or support small groups of children in Mandarin
- Facilitate outdoor play, exploration, and structured activities
- Reinforce language immersion naturally throughout the day
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging environment
- Support classroom flow and transitions
